Quick and easy Mind and Behavior Change TIPS that can keep you on track on a new healthy lifestyle:
• Be realistic and don’t expect too much too soon or less you will set yourself up for disappointment.
• Learn to be assertive with yourself and others and protect your new choices. Remember you don’t have to justify to others why you are doing things differently now.
• Avoid negativity. You want encouragement (especially at the beginning) not Nay Sayers.
• Visualize yourself at your desired goal very often.
• Imagine how you will feel EMOTIONALLY once you have earned SUCCESS!
• Be assertive with your server at restaurants and ask for healthier substitutions
• Eat blueberries; they are rich in fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants.
